Dersin Amacı Çürüğün terminolojisi ve etyolojisi ve kavite terminolojisi hakkında bilgi sahibi olur, çürük sınıflandırılmalarını öğrenir. Black kavite prensipleri ve sınıflamalarını öğrenir. Restoratif tedavide kullanılan el aletleri, döner aletler ve frezler hakkında bilgi sahibi olur.
