Dersin Amacı Sabit protez uygulamaları ve planlamalarını öğrenmeleri, endikasyon koyabilmeleri, ölçü alıp, geçici kuron yapabilmeleri, köprü protezlerin temel biyomekanik prensiplerini kavrayabilmeleri amaçlanmaktadır.

Sabit protezlerin tanımları, sınıflamaları. Diş preparasyonunun temel prensipleri. Preparasyon yöntemleri. Molar ve kesici dişlerin preparasyon yöntemleri. Tek diş preparasyonlarında tedavi planlaması. Diş preparasyonunun temel prensipleri : Mekanik, biyolojik ve Estetik prensipler, Retansiyon, Stabilite, Yapısal dayanıklılık, kuron protezlerinde giriş yolu. Sabit protezlerde yapım aşamaları, Ölçü yöntemleri. Geçici kuronlar ve yapım yöntemleri. Destek dişlerin değerlendirilmesi. Köprü protezlerinin planlanması, Ante Teoremi, Biyomekanik faktörler.
