Dersin Amacı Periodontal hastalıkların tedavisinde Faz II temel prensiplerini öğretmek, cerrahi anatominin özelliklerinin anlaşılmasını sağlamak. Periodontal cerrahi teknikleri ile ilgili temel prensipleri, gingivektomi, flap, rezektif ve rejeneratif kemik cerrahileri, periodontal estetik cerrahi, mikrocerrahi konularında genel bilgi ve terminolojiyi öğretmek. Periodontoloji ile diğer disiplinler arasındaki ilişkilerin anlaşılmasını sağlamak ve implantoloji ile ilgili temel kavramları ve periimplantitis öğretmek.
