Dersin Amacı Periodontal dokuları tanımak. Diş eti hastalıkları ve cerrahisi ile ilgili konuları tanımak ve bilmek. Periodontal tedavilerde kullanılan aletleri tanımak ve tedavi öncesi kullanılacak olan aletleri hazırlamak. Diş hekimine periodontal tedavi işlemleri konusunda yardımcı olmak. Ağız bakımı ile ilgili malzeme ve yöntemleri bilmek, kullanımını hastaya anlatmak.
