Dersin Amacı Fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon alanında kullanılan terminolojik dilin temel tanım ve kavramları, insan yapısı ve hastalıklara ait temel kavram ve terimler, tıbbi sözcükleri meydana getiren öğeler kök-ön ek-son ekler, lokomotor sistem ve diğer sistemlere ilişkin terminolojinin öğretilmesi, fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon alanında tanımlama, ölçme değerlendirme ve uygulamalarda kullanılan terminolojik dilin öğretilmesi ve fizyoterapi süreci içerisinde terminolojiyi yerinde ve doğru kullanma becerilerini geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır

Dersin içeriğinde anatomik terimler, kök, önek, soneklerle ilgili terimler, tıbbi terminoloji, vücut sistemlerine ait terminolojik ifadeler, fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon süreçlerinde kullanılan terminolojinin öğretilmesi ve kullanılması yer almaktadır
