Bu ders kapsamında; amputasyon, amputasyon nedenleri, seviyeleri, konjenital ekstremite noksanlığı, parsiyel el ve ayak protezleri, üst ve alt ekstremite amputasyon seviyelerine göre protez uygulamaları ve komponent seçimi, protezlerde statik ve dinamik ayarlar, kontrol mekanizmaları, alt ekstremite amputelerinde görülen yürüyüş problemleri, erken ve geçici protez uygulamaları, myoelektrik protezler, ileri teknolojik protez uygulamaları ve ampute rehabilitasyonu konularına yer verilmiştir.
