Dersin Amacı Pulmoner fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon tekniklerinin temel prensiplerini ve solunum sistemi bozukluklarına yol açan patolojileri, fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon yaklaşımlarını değerlendirmektir. Solunum problemi olan hastalarda bu problemin tanınması, uygun değerlendirme yöntemleri ile hastaların değerlendirilmesi, solunum fizyoterapi yaklaşımları ve pulmoner rehabilitasyon uygulamalarının seçimi ile hastaya uygun tedavi programının planlanması ve uygulanabilmesinin sağlanması.

Bu ders; pulmoner sistem anatomisi, fizyolojisi, nöranatomisi, patofizyolojisi ve hastalıkların incelenmesi, pulmoner rehabilitasyonda kullanılan değerlendirme ve tedavi yöntemleri, pulmoner hastalıklarda egzersiz testleri, pulmoner rehabilitasyonda kullanılan teknikler ve uygulamaları, kronik obstüriktif akciğer haastalığı, astım, restiriktif akciğer hastalıkları ve pulmoner arteriyel hipertansiyon hastalarında pulmoner rehabilitasyon, yoğun bakımda pulmoner fizyoterapi uygulamaları, neonatallerde pulmoner fizyoterapi, pediatrik hastalarda pulmoner rehabilitasyon, pulmoner vaka çözümlemesi konularını içermektedir.
