Dersin Amacı Öğrencilerin katı dozaj formlarının hazırlanması ve kalite kontrolleri, stabilite testleri ve reaksiyon kinetiği konularında pratik becerilere sahip olmalarını sağlamak amaçlanmaktadır.

Bu ders kaşe hazırlama, Sert jelatin kapsüllerin hazırlanması, Islak ve kuru granülasyon, Doğrudan kompresyon yöntemiyle tabletlerin hazırlanması, Islak granülasyon yöntemiyle tabletlerin hazırlanması, Efervesan tabletlerin hazırlanması, Wurster tarafından tabletlerin kaplanması konularını içerir.
