Dersin Amacı Bilgisayar destekli tasarım dersinini amacı öğrenciye makine ve otomotiv endüstrisinde ki bir parçanın veya ürünün üretilmeden önce bilgisayar ortamında tasarlaya bilme yetisi kazandırmak. Ders iki boyutlu ve üç boyutlu çizimler yapılırken dikkat edilmesi gerekenleri öğreterek bölümden mezun olan öğrencilere alanında tasarımcı olma imkanı sunmasını sağlamak.

1 By understanding the usage areas of the drawing program, they will have information about the place of computer aided design in the industry.
1 Çizim programının kullanım alanlarını kavrayarak, endüstride bilgisayar destekli tasarımın yeri hakkında bilgi sahibi olacaktır.
2 Bilgisayar ortamında endüstri standartlarına uygun formatta teknik çizim paftası hazırlayabilecektir
2 Will be able to prepare technical drawing sheet in computer environment in accordance with industry standards.
3 Will be able to print a drawing sheet prepared in a computer program in a suitable format and make it ready for distribution.
3 Bilgisayar programında hazırlamış olduğu bir çizim paftasını uygun formatta baskı alarak dağıtıma hazır hale getirebilecektir.
4 Bir ürünün detaylarını 2 boyutlu olarak bilgisayar destekli tasarım programı aracılığı ile görselleştirebilecektir.
